2022 CHOC Charley Awards

On September 22, 2022 the CHOC Foundation held their annual Charley Awards Luncheon at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, CA. The Charley Awards, which is named in remembrance of Charles W. Hester, a beloved former board chairman at CHOC, recognizes and honorees individuals and organizations that exemplify his ideals of philanthropy and volunteerism in the CHOC’s community. Each recipient demonstrates the generous giving of time, skills and support that have nurtured CHOC ever since its founding in 1964.

Back in 2019 we created this introduction video to the Charley Hester Awards.

During the months of July, August and September ESI was busy capturing interviews and b-roll footage of not only presenters of the awards but also grateful families who had spent time at CHOC and were directly affected by the charitable support from the award recipients.

The ESI Production team moved throughout the foundation and other parts of the CHOC Campus to create ideal recording locations that would help tell the story of the amazing recipients and families.

The ESI team also went on location to conduct several interviews with individuals and organizations.

Not only was ESI responsible for the recording and production side of the videos we also spent several weeks editing, adding motion graphics, music, and photos to the videos. After a few rounds of feedback and approvals from the CHOC Foundation team the videos were mastered and delivered to the venue to be shown at the Awards Luncheon.
